Hello! I am Mara Speece, a creative professional with a degree in Journalism and Media Communications from Colorado State University, where I graduated in May 2022. Originally from the Galápagos Islands, I pursued all my studies in the United States, living in California, Minnesota and Colorado. Now, I am based in the Galápagos Islands, where I channel my passion for conservation and storytelling into my work.

As a Cross Culture Kid (CCK), growing up between diverse cultures and environments has deeply shaped my worldview and creative approach. This unique background allows me to connect with various audiences and bring fresh perspectives to my storytelling.

I have always enjoyed bringing my creative ideas to life. There’s nothing more rewarding than putting thoughts together, working through the creative process, and experiencing the rush of seeing a final product come to life. My passion lies in visual storytelling—whether through photography or videography.
